Job Summary: The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests at Knights Action Park's aquatic attractions(Splash Kingdom). This includes vigilant surveillance of the water, enforcement of park rules, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent customer service. This role demands strong swimming skills, quick thinking, teamwork, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Must be 15 years old.
Experience:
- None required (training and certification provided).
Responsibilities:
- Must be trained and licensed in the Star Guard Elite Program through Knights Action Park.
- Be Rescue Ready at all times.
- Vigilantly scan assigned zone(s) of the pool/water attraction, adhering to the 10-20 rule (scanning every 10 seconds, reaching all areas within 20 seconds).
- Enforce all park rules and regulations, addressing violations promptly and professionally.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including rescues, first aid situations, and other incidents.
- Perform bottom sweeps regularly during rotations to ensure clear visibility and identify potential hazards.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly following a save or incident.
- Maintain constant surveillance of the water, never leaving the stand unattended until all guests have exited the water after closing, including your area of the park.
- Proactively identify and address potential hazards in and around the water.

Ride Operator & Maintenance
Job Description: Ride Operator & Maintenance

Job Summary: This dual-role position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of amusement park rides, including Go Karts, and the upkeep and maintenance of park grounds and facilities. The Ride Operator & Maintenance Technician ensures guest safety and satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude, customer service skills, and a strong work ethic. Must be 16 years old for Ride Operations, and must be 15 years old for Maintenance.

- None required (training provided).
Responsibilities:
Ride Operator (Including Go Karts):
- Ride Operation: Operate all mechanical rides at Knight's Action Park, including Go Karts, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. This includes opening, closing, and performing select maintenance procedures as trained.
- Safety Enforcement: Enforce park rules and regulations consistently and professionally, ensuring guest safety and a positive experience. You need to recognize your phone is a safety hazard and should only be used on official breaks or for park emergencies
- Inspection and Documentation: Conduct thorough inspections of rides, documenting findings and any repairs made. Maintain accurate records of ride maintenance activities.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot common ride malfunctions, escalating complex issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of ride areas, including the Go Kart track and pit, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
- Guest Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns with courtesy and professionalism.
- No Unauthorized Modifications: Absolutely no modifications or tinkering with ride motors or control systems.
- Enforce age and height restrictions: 12 years old and 54 inches tall minimum, with exceptions for vision-impaired or physically/mentally disabled guests using the second seat.
- Deliver safety rules at the gate before riders enter the karts: "The brake is under the left foot. There is positively no bumping or reckless driving. When your ride is over, come in slowly and stay seated in the kart at all times until we tell you it is safe to get out."
- Operate the pit loop controller.
- Monitor and control the number of karts on the track.
- Maintain accurate inspection logs and documentation for Go Karts.
- Handle guests who do not follow the rules professionally and firmly.
