Knight’s Action Park & Caribbean Water Adventure have long been Springfield’s home for entertainment, excitement, and refreshing summer fun. Today, Illinois favorite family fun park is home to water slides, batting cages, a fifty tee driving range, bumper boats, the classic Big Wheel, a giant wave pool, and much more. It is “where the action is” in central Illinois.

Knight’s Action Park has been a part of Springfield for over forty-five years. Sports are supposed to be fun, and we’ve kept that in mind here. You practice your game because you love to play it. The smile on an eight year-old’s face when he hits a ball for the distance in the batting cage is the same as that on a thirty year-old man’s. We never outgrow the fun.

At Knight’s Action Park, kids of all ages can practice and play on any summer day. Knight’s offers a fifty tee driving range, batting cages, putting green, and two miniature golf courses. The fun doesn’t stop there, however. Knight’s is also home to kiddy rides, arcade games, go-karts, and the Big Wheel. Just because Knight’s Action Park is the place to perfect your game, it doesn’t mean you should forget how to have fun along the way.

Next to Knight’s Action Park is Caribbean Water Adventure, the place where summer fun is an adventure to remember. Guests can escape the summer heat by relaxing in the giant wave pool or floating around in the Caribbean Wild River. Thrills and laughter await on the parks water slides, including the hair raising Devil Ray water slide which send visitors speeding down a nearly vertical incline & back up again.

Summer sunshine is beautiful, but it brings with it summer heat. Caribbean Water Adventure is a refreshing paradise right in your backyard. Visitors can navigate the lake at the edge of Caribbean Water Adventure aboard a four-seat Peddle Boat. For those who want a little more excitement, the Bumper Boats are a crash & splash good time that brings a smile to everyone’s face. Little ones will enjoy Seal Bay and other kiddy play areas, with small slides & water falls ideal for drenching the summer heat.

Knight’s Action Park & Caribbean Water Adventure are located next to the Route 66 Twin Drive In. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, the Route 66 Twin Drive In shows double features on both of its giant screens. Moviegoers can spend an evening with their family under the night sky and enjoy two of today’s biggest hit movies.

Whether it’s a summer afternoon driving a golf ball, a summer day in the water, or a summer evening at the movies, Central Illinois has a home for family amusement. “C’mon, it’s where the action is!"
